Heitz Staff Position:  Optometrist, or Doctor of Optometry

Thoughts on Customer Service: We try to give a superior eye health examination. Also, to give personal  advice to each patient regarding their eye health and visual needs.   I counsel each patient with regard to specific solutions for  their vocation and lifestyle.

I take  time  with each patient.  As with any job, some problems are easy to fix, and some are "trickier" to solve.  I treat minor eye disease, such as eye infections, foreign bodies and abrasions,red eyes, dry eyes,  ect. - and diagnose major eye disease and provide the appropriate referral.  Patients also receive counsel regarding other health issues that relate to the eyes.

I try to be friendly and strive to stay on schedule. We are sensitive to how long my patients wait!

Personal Data:  I spend time with my family - wife, daughter and two sons. I like to coach their sports and enjoy watching high school sports.
